Took this whilst on a short break to the Lake District in November 2019.
I had actually been heading along the Ullswater shore from Glenridding to Pooley Bridge with the intention of photographing The Duke of Portland Boathouse at sunset.
As I was driving along the low cloud began to form over the surface of the lake giving the scenery a really atmospheric feel. I pulled over at the next parking spot and managed to capture a few shots.
I really like the effect of the low cloud and how the light from the fading sun just comes through.
