I happened to come across this little fella whilst out on a walk around Baslow and Froggat Edges in the Peak District in November 2018 on what was an unseasonably warm day.
This little calf was making the most of the sun whilst it’s mother rested under the shade of a nearby tree and was totally unfazed by the hikers passing by on the track towards the Wellington monument further along the ridge.
There are quite a few walks available around the area if you google Curbar and Froggat edges but I tend to get a lot of my walks from The Walking Englishman website including this one which will hopefully give you a glimpse of the cattle on your walk.
