I had taken a short trip to the Lake District with the express intention of photographing this iconic Lakeland scene.
I had intended to capture the Boathouse at sunset the previous evening but found my plans hampered by a heavy fog that descended shortly before I arrived at the location.
Undeterred, I asked my plans to allow me to capture this shot at sunrise the following morning
